River and Mercantile Solutions Director Named President-Elect of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries
DENVER, October 30th, 2018 – River and Mercantile Solutions (R&M) announced today that Michael Clark, Director and Consulting Actuary, was named President-Elect of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA). Michael has served in a number of roles within the CCA and assumed his new role as President-Elect at the close of their annual meeting this past Wednesday.
Outgoing President John Lowell, commented in his communication to the CCA’s membership that, “Michael came on our Board a few years ago and immediately established himself as the go-to person for anything forward-looking.”
Don Fuerst, now Penultimate Past President and Past Chair of the CCA’s Nominating Committee, remarked that “We are confident that through Michael’s leadership the CCA will continue to advance its strategic plan for the benefit of the actuarial profession.”
In his role as President-Elect, Michael will oversee the CCA’s strategic planning efforts. In addition he will represent the CCA at North American Actuarial Council meetings as well as meetings of the International Actuarial Association. He will also continue to provide leadership on the CCA’s board of directors.
